What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners made for each individual. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that your patient will wear over their teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift the patient’s teeth into place, based on the exact movements that you, as their dentist or orthodontist, plan for. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. The patient will just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks until treatment is complete. Your patient will achieve a great smile with little interference to their daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know they are teeth are being straightened unlike traditional braces.
